My practice as an artist is greatly inspired by the natural world and my experience of it. Often I find myself drawing inspiration from the mundane as well as the flora and fauna local to my area. My work typically falls into two categories, printmaking and design. I have worked in relief, intaglio, and screenprint with a large portion done in linoleum block printing. When it comes to design, I lean more commercial, towards branding and collateral for exhibitions. The work I create serves as a representation of how I experience the world and the different things that draw my attention. I hope that after seeing my work the viewer will slow down and take the time to observe the world around them.
