Monumental and Mundane is a series of linoleum relief prints exploring the relationship between iconic landmarks and everyday sights. During the four weeks I spent living in Ballyvaughan and working at the Burren College of Art, I found myself just as in awe of the minute details of the landscape as I had been when we visited the Cliffs of Moher and Poulnabrone Dolmen. I created this series as a way of processing my experience and juxtaposing the variety of sights that had caught my attention. May 22 – June 19, 2022
